Phil Wood Classic Road hubs are designed for heavy duty use with a primary focus on durability. Extensive use of stainless steel in the axle, end caps and cassette body make them a great choice for applications that favor durability over weight savings.

Pro model hubs take the proven Classic design and shave weight to make them more competitive with other high end road offerings. The Pro model retains the high strength gearbox design of the Classic, but uses an alloy cassette body, axle, and end caps to remove 170g.

Phil Wood products are designed, manufactured and assembled in San Jose, California.
