DT Swiss brass nipples are durable and offer high strength under extreme tension and in corrosive environments.
Brass is an excellent material choice for nipples due to its superior corrosion resistance and high strength. Silver nipples are nickel-plated for a long lasting high quality finish.

A simple part, well made and designed. Well finished, durable, and always with consistent quality. I've used hundreds, possibly over a thousand of them, and haven't yet found one that was incompletely threaded, or stripped out under tension. Cheaper nipples are out there, but I usually find defective pieces when a customer insists on the cheapest available option.
