The DT Swiss Revolution is an ultra-light double butted spoke that uses a 1.5mm diameter center section to achieve weight reduction.
Using Revolution spokes is an easy way to drop extra grams from your wheelset. Revolution spokes can be difficult to build with in higher tension applications due to a tendency to twist through the thin center section. It can be helpful to use a spoke gripper to control rotation in these applications.
Not recommended for freeride or downhill applications with disc brake use.

I have been building wheels with DT spokes since the 1970s. And Revolutions particularly since the 1990s. I still am racing on wheels built with these from the 90’’s. I cannot think of anything more complimentary to write. Thank you Wheel Builder for maintaining their availability.
It checks all the boxes. Purchased black DT Revs several times from this store. If I knew about this store before, at buck fifty a piece, I would have use these spokes even for my road bikes. Superb finish. Not easy to scratch. As light as aerolites. Aerolites are just a bit thinner and wider.
