Derby helped usher in the wide rim revolution by optimizing their carbon fiber rims for higher volume tire casings. If you're after more grip you will appreciate the stability and handling performance gained when pairing your favorite tires with a wider section rim. A wider rim opens the tire profile transforming it from a "lightbulb" shape to a "square" shape by widening the base of the tire at the bead. This change in profile can dramatically improve traction and stability.

- Spokes: Wheelbuilder caries a wide range of high quality spokes from leading manufacturers. We select the exact spoke model and manufacturer based on a combination of your selected spoke type as well as hub flange thickness and spoke hole diameters.
